Hintco Roadshow in Mexico City: opportunity for the green hydrogen market

To ramp-up the green hydrogen market in Mexico in view of its benefits for sustainable development and energy transition, the Mexican-Germany Energy Partnership held the event “Green Hydrogen in Mexico: Hintco Roadshow H2Global and collaboration opportunities” on April 30th  at El Colegio de Mexico.

The first part of the event, the Hintco Roadshow, is part of the global presentation tour of the H2Global mechanism, in the framework of the publication of the second tender of this mechanism that seeks to boost and strengthen the green hydrogen market.

The second part of the event opportunities for collaboration with the Mexican-Germany Energy Partnership of GIZ Mexico, the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Mexican Hydrogen Association. More than 40 people from the private and public sector interested in the promotion of the green hydrogen industry and its development in Mexico, a country with a wide potential to produce, consume and commercialize it, participated in the event.

The Roadshow was inaugurated with words from members of the Presidium, made up of Diana León, Head of the Energy Sector of the Ministry of Economy; José María Valenzuela, General Director of Technological Development and Energy Access; Gunnar Schneider, Head of the Department of Economics and Global Affairs of the German Embassy and Wildfred Mohr, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as welcoming words from Vicente Ugalde, Secretary General of El Colegio de México.
