The virtual roundtable created a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences between the participants. The objective was to identify measures that can ensure community participation in renewable energy and energy transformation projects.
Community consultations, social and environmental impact studies, local job creation and fair distribution of economic benefits are amongst the best practices identified to prevent conflicts and ensure the economic viability of renewable energy projects.
